Arthur E. Gautreau, 70, of Moncton, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 1994 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital after a sudden illness.

Born in Pré-d'en-Haut, he was the son of the late Eloi and Thilda (Gautreau) Gautreau. He was retired from Co-Op Atlantic after 10 years service. He attended Notre-Dame de Grâce Roman Catholic Church in Moncton.


He is survived by his wife, Norma (Cormier) Gautreau; one daughter, Mrs. Donald LeBlanc (Joanne) of Moncton; two sons, Roméo Gautreau of Newton, Mass., USA., Claude Gautreau of Moncton; four sisters, Mrs. Zoël Richard (Evangéline) of Pré-d'en-Haut, Mrs. Ronald Cormier (Stella) of Pré-d'en-Haut, Mrs. Alcide Robichaud (Ella) of St-Anselme, Emerise Gautreau of Fox Creek ; two brothers, Albert Gautreau (Violette) of Pré-d'en-Haut, Alyre Gautreau (Irène) of Pré-d'en-Haut; four grandchildren, Gisèle, Danny, Brian and Steven; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son, Reginald; one sister, Bertina Belliveau; two brothers, Aurèle and Clovis.

Resting at Dupuis Funeral Home Ltd. in Memramcook with the Funeral Mass to be held at Notre-Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church in Pré-d'en-Haut on Monday, October 10, 1994 at 11 a.m. Interment in Notre-Dame de l'Annonciation Cemetery in Pré-d'en-Haut.
